1. I was born in Paris in 1969. I grew up in Brazil and Paris, where I studied Law, and moved to New York in 2000 to study Voice and Opera. The main focus of my photographic work is poetry in the realm of vision.
2. My first photographic training was advice from my uncle who developed black and white as well as color prints in the bathroom, which always turned out some shade of orange.
3. I vowed not to spend hours in a dark room with a ticking clock: thankfully digital cameras and editing saved me from such a fate.
4. He bought me my first camera, a Minox, and taught me the basics of photography, but it was hours spent at museums looking at paintings which educated my eye.
