Brasilia

Dispersed, my organs, my head, my heart, my eyes, my beloved feet.

Dismembered and disarticulated in the name of a plan.

I am losing my breath.

For hours I have been walking; without the promise of a destination and the solace of human presence.

Shadows of beings roam under the sun along the avenues.

But blood, oh living blood has been forgotten, and flows no more.

Where are you, city of one dream, who promised to free man and enslaved its children.

Where are you, you who precomposed this harmony.

Oh my organs, so remote now.

Flow water! Lake of the South and Lake of the North, and rise, and claim the land where insects crawl and the giant statues shall float, at last.
